Important points :-

1) In new classification the mixture of noun and noun is known as "countable noun" and thus the mixture of abstract noun and material noun is known as "Uncountable noun".

2) When a countable noun is singular number then before it a/an is used .
As, A boy or an elephant and etc.

3) Countable noun's plural forms are, boys, cats, dogs and etc.

4) Before a uncountable noun neither a/an nor plural forms are used. As, A tea, an oil, oils are absolutely wrong. If plural is used then the word's meaning changes.

5) Roti could also be a countable noun within the Hindi language. But within English ' bread is Uncountable Noun'. Therefore, provides a bit of bread instead of giving a bread in English. Four pieces of bread.
